LiveUp Privacy Policy

This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when providing LiveUp services.

If you do not agree with this policy, please stop using the App.

1. Information We Collect

Content you provide or generate:

  • Activity data (title, time, notes, links, pickup codes, medication and dosage, etc.).
  • Images you share or choose (processed for OCR or activity creation; only the images you select).
  • Text you submit for AI parsing.

System and device data:

  • HealthKit data: steps, active energy, exercise time, stand hours.
  • Reminders data: title, due date, system identifier.
  • Live Activity push-to-start token.
  • Device identifier (identifierForVendor) for scheduled activation.
  • Network speed stats (up/down rates, not content).
  • Feature usage counts stored locally.

We do not require an account and do not collect contacts, SMS, precise location, or microphone recordings.

Optional sync:

  • If you enable iCloud sync, your activity data and settings are stored in your iCloud/CloudKit.

2. How We Use Information

  • Create, display, and update Live Activities and widgets.
  • Schedule local notifications and automatic activation.
  • Perform OCR and AI parsing when you initiate it.
  • Sync data via iCloud when enabled.
  • Provide support when you contact us.

3. Sharing and Third-Party Services

We only share information as needed to deliver features:

  • Apple services: iCloud/CloudKit, HealthKit, Reminders, Siri/Shortcuts, APNs.
  • Scheduled activation backend (liveup-api.ldbmcs.com): device identifier, push-to-start token, activity content, and time.
  • Third-party AI parsing service (Alibaba Cloud DashScope compatible API): only the text you submit.

We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising or cross-site tracking.

4. Storage and Retention

  • Activity data is stored primarily on your device and within the App Group container.
  • Shared or selected images are deleted after processing.
  • Server data for scheduled activation is deleted immediately after completion or expiration.
  • When iCloud sync is enabled, data is stored in your iCloud and removed when you delete it.

You can delete activity data in the App or remove the App to clear local data.

5. Security

We use HTTPS to communicate with backend/third-party services and rely on Apple's system security protections.

However, no method of transmission is 100% secure.

6. Your Choices

  • Revoke permissions or disable notifications in Settings.
  • Disable iCloud sync or delete data in the App.
  • Uninstall the App to clear local data.

7. Children

The App is not intended for children under 14. Minors should use the App with guardian consent and guidance.

8. Updates

We may update this policy with reasonable notice. Continued use means acceptance of the updated policy.
